I was wondering if anyone here ever installed a transgo in their camaro/firebird? How lonng did it take, and was it hard? Either way Im most likely going to do it myself, so that I can learn about transmissions and gain some more knowledge.
Thanks
Brandon
It takes a few hours depending on the tools and you ability to do things. Was it worth it, yes IMHO.
You might learn some but your really not going to be getting deep into the tranny. Watch the video that comes with it and read the instructions. You'll find that both aren't exactly what you need to do to yours. It will be a little from each but both are very helpful.

Watch the video and read the instrutions. Don't do anything that the video does, just what the instrutions say. I have messed up a trans by thinking I new what I was doing.
Also when you remove the valve body, be carefull it is heavy.
