Ok so when I'm driving my car (98 m5 firebird) and I go to shift gears, if the revs are above 3000 or so they hang there for like a second after I'm off the gas and on the clutch. I was just wondering if any one elses car does this and also if there is any way to cut this crap out. It really pi$$es me off when I go to shift and the revs just hang. Any response is welcome. Thanks agian.

Any one wanna help me on this one? Even just to say that your car does the same thing will be a help in making me feel better, knowing that it's not just my car. Thanks

it's a problem with the "drive by wire" throttle control motor.... it holds the throttle open too long... I had a simialar problem with my 99 a4 replaced the throttle control motor and all was good
