Hi guys~~~~ Need Help

Anybody know about 4L60E transmission ?
whats difference Between V6(4L60E) and V8(4L60E).

Ok, the only difference between the two transmissions is the belhousing. The V6 tranny won't bolt up to a V8, and visa versa. They are both worth about the same, but if you are planning a swap, you need to fabricate a new belhousing, or trade trannies also. [img]graemlins/burnout.gif[/img]

how about Gear ratio inside 4l60E transmission,and shaft size...
Are these same?

I hate that. If I ever wanted to do a engine swap, I gotta swap the tranny too. DAYUM!

Yup, they are the same. I've heard of people using the V6 tranny with an LT1 swap, but you have to have a new belhousing fabricated. It would probably be cheaper to sell your tranny, and buy the V8 tranny when swapping.
