    http://www.bfranker.badz28.com/94z/trannycooler.htm

After reading this I've nearly decided I need a trans cooler - it can't hurt right?

Well, my only question after reading this is, is there no need to *BLEED* the trans coolant system during the install? It looks as though he hooked it up, and expected the air to just blow right down the hose into the trans and it autobleed itself somehow? One would think this might not happen and you'd end up with crappy efficiency?

Am I missing something, or is it just this easy to install?

Mine was installed on a drained system... and then new fluid was added when it was all connected. I had my tranny rebuilt and a cooler (among other goodies) were one of the parts they threw in it at no charge (they just said parts were broken for the warranty company to pay for that were not really damaged). So to answer your question... it would be best to stay away from air bubbles in the fluid and to bleed it.
