Installing gears means preciseness to like hundredths of an inch, so you may want a pro. to do it. I just shelled out $420 to get mine installed... :( New bearing cost me 50 bucks plus a few other things, labor cost of 315, which was originally quoted at 210-250, but they had to keep taking it in and out because they couldn't find the right screws for it.
BUT they did agree to reprogram my PCM for no additional cost.

I've done it myself. All the info is in the sig.

I'm telling you, easiest thing to do is just swap out the entire axle. It'll end up being cheaper than paying someone to install just gears, and it will give you gears, limited slip diff., and rear discs!
