ugh, 12 hours for something that easy is nuts! i swear, the actual swap was easy (i went from 3.08/open to 3.42/lsd) it was trying to find the right parts nearby, finding someone to pull a bearing off to get to the pinion shim, which we never did find, since noone sells them, the trying to get the axle block to fit. that last part took about 4hrs of filing and hammering and cursing, then we find out that the passenger side axle gear is sticking out a little too much and locking up the worm gears, no wonder the block wouldn't fit! we started at 12pm and finally finished around midnight and except for those two setbacks, everything was a breeze. backlash was perfect, didn't need to make any adjustments once everything went together. i haven't gotten on it yet to feel the difference, but just cruising around it feels like it accelerates a lot quicker. gonna see what the timeslips say thursday, hopefully somewhere b/w 9.7 and 9.5 on the 1/8.

my rear abs doesn't work either, guess it isn't something i did wrong. i think we actually need to get a different reluctor ring.
i still haven't gotten on it yet, i want to make sure everything is broken in and that i did it all right before i try to thrash it.you can\'t get off if you don\'t get on
