as you know i am selling my tranny because i have no use for it anymore. it is off a 2000 and there is a guy looking for one for his 96. will my 2000 work on his 96?

yea, all trannies standard from 93-02 from what i know
same with all 3rd gen trannies
there might be a variance in how well the tranny is, like for a 3rd gen the auto tranny was a 700r4
the 700r4 got progressively better from 82-92 so the only difference would be if yuor tranny got built better

Actually, the 93 Tranny were the 4L60, and then in 94 GM switched to the 4L60E. The E adds the electronically controlled.
