I went and got my oil changed and the auto lube man said i have brurnt trans fluid, is that from me racing around town all the time and flooring it 24/7? Oh one more thing my fuel filter has never been changed since the was brand new. I have 94,XXX miles on the car now should I get it changed when I go in next week while I have the trans fluid done?? He's probably trying to tell you that so you'll replace it and pay him more money.
Look at the fluid and smell it. If it doesnt smell burnt (on the stick) it isnt burnt!@!@
I change fluid in an auto trans every 30K. I also do the fuel filter every 30K.
