talkin to a mechanic at work asking about a corvette servo and such and what it would do, affecting shift firmness, he recommended I just put either a stiffer spring or washers in the accumulator for less movement, the tranny fluid wouldnt be able to push down on it as hard and a firmer shift...with a side effect of firmer down shifts, it will extend the tranny life because now the bands wont be slipping as much, but he said if it was to strong you could bust one of the bands and really be SOL...so what do ya think of this?? anyone that knows about tranny's

I put 2 nuts and a washer in place of the 1-2 accumulator spring. Works great! I can spin both tires in the rain during the 1-2 shift! Even helped 2-3 somewhat, but no a lot.1993 Pontiac Firebird 3.4L V6 A4<br />F41 RPO suspension option<br />119K miles<br />Fastchip<br />K&N \"Filtercharged\"<br />Airbox cuttout CAI<br />ASP underdrive pulleys<br />Pacesetter Headers<br />Flowmaster 80 Series 2.75 cat-back<br />MangaFlow Hi-Flow Cat<br />Corvette Servo<br />16.4 @ 81 MPH
