I seem to remember hearing somewhere that carbon fiber is good for twisting, but if something hits it it'll shatter. I.E. it can not break under high HP, but if a rock flies up from the road and hits it, it's toast. I don't know if this is true or not, but that's what I've heard.
You say this is a daily driver car. I personally would not get a CF driveshaft because of this fact. This thing I've heard (about the shattering) is what made me decide on getting an Al drive shaft (when I finally get one). If you're trying to decide between the CF driveshaft and the TC, I'd get the converter.
Like I said, this is just what I've heard, so you may want to do more research into this. It may/maynot be true.
