I have a 3.8 with the 4l60E Transmission. I'm gunna do a LT1 swap in April. I need to know if my Tranny with Bolt up to the LT1. The reason I ask is, every LT1 Ive seen has a 4L60E tranny with it...Are these transmissions the same thing?? Thanks

No the V-6 trans will not bolt up to a V-8 engine. They are the same internals but have different size bellhousings. Hate to say this but you will have to change the transmission. Also do a search on this subject. It's out there somewhere. [img]graemlins/thumbsup.gif[/img]
