i can easily get a posi rearend with disc brakes for under 100 bucks. the problem is it's from a 92 3rd gen i need to know iif i can just bolt this thing in or even if i can take out the third member in my car and replace it with the posi one. and how about the brakes? will all the brackets bolt on to my housing with minimal fabrication? would it be worth this 100 bucks for the trouble i have to go through?

3rd gen rears are 4 inches narower than the 4th gens. you can bolt 1 in but you'll need 2 inch shims on each side to use 4th gen rims.Comment
