Gear change question

Do i really need to change the ABS Reluctor Ring since i will still have a 3-series. should i use posi addivie with a zexel torsen(99$ one).

I just planing on getting the complete kit and motive gears from thunderracing.

Iam not seeing the slp recalibrating unit on there site. I put in the part numbers and noithing comes up, did they stop selling it?

You don't need to change it if you just swap it over. I would put it on the new carrier. If you don't you may not have any problems, then again you may have problems and have to pull everything back out to put it on.

Yes put in a LSD friction modifier. The Zexel is the same carrier that the SS had.

what exactly does the reluctor ring do?? i have a series 2 carrier and plan on getting the $99 lsd and 3.42 to replace my bad 3.08s. thunder told me they can't install them b/c of abs. how does the reluctor help this??
