Just installed the Spec aluminum flywheel and Spec stg 2 clutch this morning. Clutch was also ordered with the lightweight option.
Install was fine. The flywheel came with the right balance from Spec, no need to worry about having it matched to stock.
Car is very streetable. The spec 2 is engaging smoothly without chatter right from the get-go. No stalling or takeoff worries with the light flywheel. I think it's idling a little lower, sounds a bit different.
Still breaking things in, so no full on launches or extended WOT yet. But the car feels lighter, likes to rev faster. I will be taking it to the dyno to quantify the difference over stock, we should see a constant torque gain (with resulting power bump) across the band since it's spinning up noticably less weight.
Oh, and put a B&M Ripper in at the same time. Love it! 1->2->3 shift is sweet. 4th is a little off to the right, not straight down like stock, which catches me a little bit - anyone else have this?
