OK--maybe it's always been this way, but when I let my foot off the brake on a level surface, the car hardly seems to move at all. This is true in both hot and cold weather. As far as shifting, the tranny seems to be ok--no sudden jerking or anything. When it's cold, it seems to hesitate a bit when shifting between R and D though. Is this something that I should be worried about?

this should be in drivetrain but in general most auto transmissions are slow between drive and reverse (and reverse and drive). as for 'creep' it varies from vehicle to vehicle. i wouldnt worry about it. although if you are concerned, check your fluid. is it burned? [black in color, smells fairly bad]. even more concerned? drop the pan. look around in the bottom. see anything odd? dont be afraid of any tiny metal sparkles--this is normal. if you see metal chunks (or in my case needle bearings) you are in trouble.
