    1. Yes
    2. You'll notice it.
    3. You can do it yourself with a socket wrench.

lol, yeah it's very easy to do... about as difficult as changing your oil.

Yes, shouldn't take more than 15 minutes.

plan on more than 15 minutes if your swapping out a 2-piece for it... the top bolt in the center bracket is a PITA.

It is definately worth it though. Its a nice mod.

Took me longer than 15. I swapped my 1 piece to my mom's old Z she traded in. Her torque arm bolts I dont think had ever moved since they were torqued. That took a little while.

Its harder than changing your oil but is easy. The torque arm may be a PITA to get off it the bolts are seized.

I dont know if it did anything, did a stall with it along with shift kit.

Its easy... way lighter then steel...

still breaking in the clutch but I am sure it feels better, just feels better to switch to lighter wheels its the same thing.

And swapping it is easy even if you have a 2-piece.

Its not a "bad" price, I picked on up for $117 shipped like a month ago, but I had a better deal. $150 shipped is not an uncommon price for them and I have seen them sell for more.

When you do search just to let you know 98% of lt1s came with 1 piece steel ones, they are very cheap. Most ls1s(not all) came with aluminum. Just make sure it says it in the auction.

and here is your right up...

If you have a 1 piece steel

                        -Jack car up
-put jack stands under rear frame not rear axle
-Use a (I think 10 mm, if you really need me to find it out I can for you) socket, to take 4 bolts off that go over caps to hold the rear universal joint to the rear diff.
-slide driveshaft forward towards, tranny, to get it out of the rear part, then pull it back towards you.

                        -Repeat in reverse.

If you have a 2 piece stocker.

same as above, but before you slide it forward, yhere are 2 bolts attaching the middle part of the 2-piece to the torque arm, going to guess they are 1/2 in, or 13mm bolts, don't remember.

Easy swap, hardest part is just taking the tools out to your car and jacking it up.

you could probably do it on ramps if you have a 1 piece steel, but woudl be a ***** and a half if you have a 2-piece...

when you support the car from the frame, the rear end sags down and gives you mroe room to work.
