I am hearing a noise that sounds like a dry throw-out bearing. I had a new clutch and a new slave clyinder with new release and pilot bearing put in at my local trans shop but it still made this dry bearing sound so I took the serpentine belt off to be sure it wasn't on the front end of the motor.I took it back to the trans shop and they said that they will put a dealer assembly on instead of aftermarket. It still makes the noise! It starts at 1500 rpm and pushing the clutch pedal will make the sound change. It does it in gear,in neutral, rolling to a stop and as I drive in first or second.I don't seem to hear it in third. HELP! Even the mech at the trans shop is mystified. also there is no vibrations just the noise..

My car makes a little noise in neutral with the clucth out but when I push in the clutch it stops. If im taking off slowly from a stop i sometimes hear a noise from the tranny. Im assuming its the Input shaft bearing.1995 3.4L M5 Camaro
Bullet Performance Exhaust, K&N FIPK, Stage 1 clutch, Short shifter, Hotchkis STB, Taylor Ignition wires, NGK spark plugs

With my car it started just in first, then I started hearing it in second, and then third. Accelerating, decelerating, and rolling to a stop with the clutch pedal in is when i heard it the most. Does it almost sound like your car is supercharged?
The dealer told me it wasn't the clutch, so I went next door to AAMCO transmitions and the mech. was amazing. He drove it for 10 min, came back, and said it was the input shaft. They dropped the tranny, and of course the input shaft was missing large peices, and those large peices ground at first gear, then second gear, and then third gear and 5th since 5th is back up to the front. I needed a rebuilt tranny. $1500 with install.1996 white camaro M5
-Custom CAI, !MAF, !EGR, Hi-Flow Cat, Magnaflow Cat-back, Removed Jack/Spare/Back seats.

2.12 60\' Best
15.14 @ 90 1/4 mile Best
