while i was driving around very normal when at a stop light, i could put the shifter in 1st but when i let out on the clutch, the shifter would jump out. so i had to use second to get home. well on the drive home, i could use 2nd, 3rd, and 4th like normal, though 2nd was a little harder to get into. I go to drop the car into 2nd while pulling into my driveway and there was no second either  . I had to use 3rd to get outta the road. You can move the shifter through 1st and 2nd just like neutral, no clutch pushed in. I replaced the clutch, throwout bearing, and drained the fluid, no shavings or anything in the fluid what so ever, perfectly clean. after $500 for a new clutch and all i'm seriously wondering what is wrong, other than i tore out 1st and 2nd. The transmission didn't make a single noise while i was driving it home and still doesn't. I swear i could feel and hear the trans engage 1st and 2nd gear while the tranny was on the ground. I would think you could at least hear something or have seen shavings in the fluid, but no. It sounds perfect, just no longer has 1st or 2nd. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

NO IDEA dude, sorry. But why not go ahead and pull the shifter (upper console, lower console, black boot (like 7mm's) and then 4 (13mm's?) bolts. You could look down into the shifting area and see if something is seriously manged. For a man who can do clutch stuff, it should be awalk in the park.
