i was talking to my mechanic i wanted to put a posi in and a set of 3:73 gears. currently i have a 3:08 open. whats exactly needed for the swap he told me i needed tons of things like shims bearings etc. thanx

Check out the install kits at the bottom. The basic kit is the bare minimum. It is strongly recommended to replace the carrier and pinion bearings as well. The complete kit is what you should go with.
Actually after checking over that again, the basic kit is pretty much useless, as it does not include carrier shims.
