  • How damaging are launches/brake stands?

I searched the net (and the board of course), and all I found was a guy who broke an engine mount on an old station wagon he liked to burn out with.

So my question is this, how much damage do we do when we launch? Is it particularly hard on the tranny? Rear end? Engine? Or is it just hard on the mounts?

I forgot to mention I am talking about automatics, but if someone messed up their manuals doing this stuff, then I would like to hear about that too.
