  • whats slipping?!?

so i thought the clutch was slipping, got a new one in and finally got all that straightened out... but anyway nothing is different it still slips just as much. when i hit the gas itll pulse real quick for a few seonds then catch and pulse slowly. the higher the gear the worse it is. what else could it be thats slipping? something in the tranny? rear end? maybe the engine is cutting out? a bad o2 sensor is throwing a code but that wouldnt make it do that would it?

Did you have the flywheel re-surfaced when you put the new clutch in?

Also might have some handprints or somthing on the flywheel... A little bit of oils from hands can make some serious slick spots

Im thinking the actuator might not be engaging the clutch properly, atleast thats what mine was.
        Good luck

so my new idea is that the pulsing might not be the clutch slipping at all... it might be the engine missing. im gonna tune-up the ignition tomorrow and see what that does. ill let you know how it turns out
