  • need help on driveshaft, LT1, LS1??? will fit 1994 3.4???

    5. 1LE driveshaft weighs about 10lbs, 2 piece is about 20lbs. It will fit 93-02 A4/M5/M6 cars. LS1 DS will fit without problems. I have checked and the closest thing to the DS is the torque arm and that is over an inch away. Both the torque arm and the DS don't move sideways so there is no problem

That is what I got from the FAQ's that DOM posted a while back. I have a 1994 chevy camaro 3.4 liter A4 and was wondering if a LS1 driveshaft would work ok? I see them more often than I do the 1LE aluminum ones. Just curious is all. Please let me know.

    Thanks,
    Chris

p.s. I wasn't sure if the FAQ article was targeting 3.4 liter camaros or 3.8. Ya never know, so just thought I would ask.

LS1 fits no problem. I don't see how some people can't make it fit. See if there is anything close to the driveshaft now. Unless you have some funky exhaust setup, you should be ok.
