LDS swap by itself is pretty easy. Read in my sig about the gear swap and once I remove the LSD forget the next steps and go back to reassembly and read from the moment I install the LSD.

3.42s will be a very noticable difference from 3.08s. LSD will help you not spin as much. With good tires you shouldn't spin at all. If my LSD can hold my 4.10s without much spinning on crappy roads, and with stiff suspension, yours should hook.
