yes, thats the POS 2-piece driveshaft that comes on V6 F-bodys. Do NOT get that! 1 piece steel or aluminum from a WS6, Firehawk, SS, or Z28 will work.Sinister Six

1998 Sport Metallic Gold Firebird A4:

Whisper Lid, 5% Limo Tint, 30th Anniversary Side Stripes, 3\" Borla Catback Dual Exhaust, Man Fan Switch, SLP CAI
http://members.cardomain.com/98goldbird

And that's just looking at a picture... you can't imagine how heavy that piece of crap is. Switching to the aluminum driveshaft was like the difference between a volleyball and a bowling ball.1994 Firebird 3.4
15.65 @ 86.8
funkz.net/firebird
Timeslips

yea but the 2piece I have been told reduces vibrations at higher speeds compared to the one pieces. That is probably the only benefit of a 2 piece though.

Just a heads up, when you put a 3rd Gen shaft in a 4th Gen you'll need a conversion U-joint for the pinion flange.1994 Firebird 3.4
15.65 @ 86.8
funkz.net/firebird
Timeslips

For what its worth my 2k 5-speed had 1-piece...
As for the 2 piece if anyone has it, ditch it immediately its crap. My center bearing whent out, and caused my pinion seal to go, causing me to lose fluid. If you still have one I woudl swap it out. 1 piece steels are cheap and an upgrade.-Eric
2000 NBM V6 Camaro 5-speed T-top converted
14.467@95.45mph $0 in mods
The member formerly known as MustangEater8251
