Just started the break in period, just wondering about this: When I am letting the clutch out in reverse the car shakes as it seems to act "grabby". If I get the rpm's high enough it is not as bad but still there. Same thing going into first but not anywhere near is bad. It doesn't make any chatter noise. Will this go away or is it normal? Doesn't really bother me but I don't want to fry the clutch if this is hurting it or something is wrong. Also would rebleeding the system add any holding power or just change pedal feel.

Mine does it... i was going to try rebleeding to see if it changes anything with the "notchy" feel on my shifter. If that doesn't do it then the synchros are bad on my tranny.-Eric
2000 NBM V6 Camaro 5-speed T-top converted
14.467@95.45mph $0 in mods
The member formerly known as MustangEater8251

I have read on other v8 cars some it actually gets worse then new, then gets better over time.
Its not noticeable and easy to get used to, but I was driving between a vette and my car for awhile and it was noticeable.-Eric
2000 NBM V6 Camaro 5-speed T-top converted
14.467@95.45mph $0 in mods
The member formerly known as MustangEater8251

I was thinking maybe its spring related... and maybe a spec 4 woudl be nice...
that its gripping and the springs are "bouncig"
possibly why you hear peopel say spec4-5 are more streetable then 3.-Eric
2000 NBM V6 Camaro 5-speed T-top converted
14.467@95.45mph $0 in mods
The member formerly known as MustangEater8251

I had clatter on my spec 2 also in reverse, but it was easy to avoid, and its not that big of deal anyway.
Reverse doesn't have a syncro shenanigans 1999 Pontiac Trans Am M6 Far from stock.....

I have a notchy feel in my shifter in all gears.
I also have new flywheels, clutch, master, slave, and the drill mod. SO I eitehr have try rebleeding my clutch(been told I need to do it several times after a clutch, swap I only did it a few times)
or the synchros are bad in my transmission.
I know its easy to deal with the clutch chatter. But its hard for someone who is testdriving your car to buy it to not notice it.-Eric
2000 NBM V6 Camaro 5-speed T-top converted
14.467@95.45mph $0 in mods
The member formerly known as MustangEater8251

sometimes it will...
I had issues with my clutch slipping, the fluid turned black, I woudl bleed it all out put new fluid in and it woould work 100% fine.
I know at least art hansen had this problems once.-Eric
2000 NBM V6 Camaro 5-speed T-top converted
14.467@95.45mph $0 in mods
The member formerly known as MustangEater8251
