  • clutch question

    ok, i will drive my car for a little bit. then i will stop (say at a drive thru) and when go to put her in gear my clutch pedel goes to the floor. i then pump it and it's fine. what is happen here. it doesn't happend all the time. just somethingi don't like. think the slave cylender is going. i'm going to be putting a new clutch in in the next few months.

    It sounds like your master clutch cyliner to me. I just had to replace mine a couple weeks ago because of similar problems; the clutch was generally just doing a lot of weird things like staying engaged even when I pushed the pedal all the way in...

    The install wasn't too bad, though. It only took me about an hour to take out the old one, put the new one in, realize I had forgotten the seal for the hydraulic line, take it back out, and reinstall it. [img]graemlins/rofl.gif[/img]
