  • How much does a transmssion flush cost?

I had to get my emissions checked at a shop (I passed). While I was waiting, I asked the guy how much a trans flush would be, and he replied that for my car it would cost $305.

I've never had a transmission flush done to my car since I owned it (had one right when I bought it at 82K, now has about 110K), so I don't know if this price is normal.

So what should a trans flush cost? Is $305 too high, low, or about right?

    Thanks!

I think Jiffy Lube will do it for like 100 bucks.

thats extreamly high for a tranny flush. Last time I took mine to get done wa about 95 bucks. But now that I work at an auto shop I can flush my tranny for nearly free. Just have to buy the ATF fluid.

I thought Tranny Flushes were like once in a vehicle lifetime thing? Why do it when you did it less than 30K miles ago?

If anything get the Rear Axle Oil changed.

I believe the owner manual suggests 30K for a tranny flush, I would have to look at it again to be sure.

I paid $100 for my tranny flush, and that was at the dealer.

I wouldn't actually flush the tranny... just change the fluid and be sure to change the filter and pan gasket. Flushes don't change the pan filter.

Every 30k is what is suggested for tranny fluid flushes.
