my clutch return spring has snapped twice now and i have replaced it both times. its not that hard to replace, but it gets annoying. has anyone had this happen to them, or does anyone now why it is happening?

It's snapped three times on my Camaro, but I think the orignal one was already broken when I bought the car new. The first replacement lasted 3,000 miles and the second lasted longer than that, but that was including a 1300 mile freeway drive that probably didn't affect it much.

I have no idea why it breaks. The dealer said they replaced it with a new version that's supposed to be stronger last time, but the part number was the same as the first time and it still broke. I'm still waiting to have it replaced again.
