This is quite annoying to work with. I don't know if anyone elce has had this problem but I couldn't find anything close to it in the search. I've got a Spec 2 clutch in my car. 2002 m5 camaro. 2nd gear syncro is gone from powershifting so much. Car has about 51,500miles on it. Heres whats going on.
For some reason the clutch only enguages and disengauges at first 2 inches of the pedal. The slightest pressure on the pedal (like 2lbs)will cause it to break loose. I remember it working better for me closer to the floorboard(the throw) is there a way to adjust this? Now that it's only enguaging and releasing at the very top of the pedal it makes the car feel weird to me. I've driven several other F-Body cars and none of them throw close to the top of the pedal. Please Help. Do we have a quadrant or something that adjusts on these cars?
