If you want one from Autozone, have them look it up under the V8 application. For the record i was not able to find the 1LE part number in the tech database (maybe im blind?). Secondly which Enegery Suspension mount is usable?
Summit racing doesnt have anything defined as being specific to our applications or the v8's. They only have a listing that says "MOST GM Cars/Trucks". Would anyone like to elaborate on the 1LE part number and exactly which Energy suspension part thats available from summit that works. A little update on the tranny mount, I ordered one from tbyrne motorsports, and finally got it in...only to find that it doesn't fit...so I call autozone and they have the same Energy Suspension tranny mount as me and it obviously will not fit either...so I get the moron to look it up for a camaro, it is the same mount!!! Duh right, but under it,there is a comment..."CROSSMEMBER MODIFICATION REQUIRED FOR THIS TRANNY MOUNT" No kidding, I could have mad it fit, just wanted a direct bolt in! So, I dropped the crossmember and broke out the dremel tool...elongated the hole in the crossmember about 1-1.5 inches and voila, it works great...besides the fact that you can really feel the transmission under there as you give it gas! Overall, the tranny is super sturdy now and you can feel more torque to the ground...honestly! Just a pain to have to do this crossmember mod! Just a little fyi!
