Well what was it? Should only take 1 hour to decide if its the tranny of the diff. Pull drive shaft take cover off 10 bolt and turn the gears. If the diff is working time to put money into the tranny. Same thing happened to my bronco 2 first car, blew up the diff on the freeway doing 75 with foot on the gas, spidder gear broke jamed the ring and pinion locked up the rear and bam there went the bearing caps and splines on the axles. That was cool, I swapped in a explorer 8.8 in the rear w/disk and converted the front to a solid dana 44. Good luck. Post details

not sure yet, I generally work all weekend, likely will get it done today.
BTW, driveshaft won't slide into tranny, so I have already dropped the rear, just need to finish undoing the botls on the torque arm, I have only really worked on it for like an hour or so.

rear is good...
