    rear swap got questions

    found a guy selling a rear out of a car. I would assume that since it is out of a v6 orginally it will swap into mine with no problem. my question is what will I need to do to convert to disk brakes in the back? I know I will need to get some calipers. what else? do I need to run lines or will the drum lines work? what am I overlooking? I have heard that the disk from later cars will not fit into the rims of the older cars like mine, will this be a problem?

    He says it comes with LT1 backing plates.

    You will need 93-97 rear calipers, hoses, rotors, pads, e-brake cables and hard lines from the center junction to the calipers. He doesn't say if any of that is included.

    He also doesn't mention if the ABS sensor, wire/connector or center hose/junction block is included either, but those can be reused from your existing rear if need be.

    $225 is a great price btw. LOL I wouldn't have posted the link though in case someone tries to buy it out from under you.
