I likely toasted another one. I either broke it or snapped the bolts, likely just broke it though.
Just wondering anything new out there or just...
Harsh poly...
1LE...
Stock...
I'll likely just go wiht a another 1LE, I have only broken one of those, and I have helped 2 people pull poly ones out due to vibration. Just checking if anything new came out...

i'm not sure there are any more 1LEs floating around out there... last i checked they were "out of stock" which seems to mean "we're out for the forseeable future."
give the polyurethane one a shot... after 500 miles you'll forget you've even installed it and it makes a HUGE difference in the sensation of shifting gears.
I also liked 1LE a little bit too because, I'd rather have a tranny mount give way and break then something else in the drivetrain.

hehe I almost mentioned a solid one but yeah I could see the steel one being rough.

SPeaking of which, any tips on checking motor mounts...
I do have ALOT of play in the shifter, and this is my 2nd tranny mount in ~12k miles. Might have damaged the originals.

Either way as a follow up, its in, I had to make a little bigger then the 1/2 in. suggested to get it to fit.(so I had to pull the crossmember off twice)
Its in and all tight, car feels much better, only drove it normal, Lots of cops on the street and I was prarie dogging the last 45 minutes of the install and was on campus in a parking garage so no toilets to let the dog loose , took me ~hour 30 minutes to do it all. Easy job, probably a big pain in the *** if you don't have a dremel.
BTw I tore my 1LE mount in half, and I picked up a Energy Suspension poly one from Autozone off the shelf for $23.99

Eh... if I could have gotten one last night, I'd have gone with 1LE, no modifications
