I have a 95 camaro convertible 3.4L. Does someone know if this is 2-wheel drive or 1-Wheel Drive?

LOL! it is 2 wheel drive. its pretty hard to find a 1 wheel drive vehicle...you have an open differential if you mean you only spin one tire doing burnouts. i have the same thing. The open differential doesnt allocate power to both wheels evenly hence 1 wheel burnouts....but once you get traction, 2 wheels move the car

Wow, uh, I think you need to rephrase your question bud. Here's a little insight for you:

Every four-wheeled vehicle has at least two of the wheels that are supplied power by the engine.

If only one wheel was supplied power, then it's not likely that a car would make it very far in a straight line.

FWD - the front two wheels are powered.
RWD - the rear two wheels are powered.
AWD & 4WD - There is a difference between the two, but the general gist of it is that all four wheels are powered.

But like Chadder said, you were probably referring to an open differential compared to a limited slip. He hit the nail on the head.

if you could, its top speed would be slower if nothing else is changed due to drivetrain loss. as for racing, AWD is good for getting the car around sharp turns and getting a good launch at the drag strip. however since all four wheels are getting the power, you would be getting twice the drive train loss in a sense. there fore if you raced from a roll instead of a stop you would be at a disadvantage. not to mention all the added weight of the new drivetrain.
