issues finding parts needed for gear and diff. swap

Alright today I took my car to my friend's house and we were gong to put in my lsd and 3.73s. Find out that I don't have bearings and races for my differential, so I order them at discount auto and when i pick em up it turns out to be them but for the gear. Then my friend says we should replace those anyway so then we go to order them for the diff and we search through the whole computer and cant find them! My friend suggested I call a speed shop and ask for em. Anyone have any other suggestions?

You're installing the gears yourself? I guess one of you has experience with installing gears, measuring backlash, etc?

Yea, my friends that are helping me have done this at least 30 times so it's no big deal for them, I'm just there as an extra hand, lol. 98camaro3.8 thanks, I'ma call em and see if I can get just the carrier's bearings and racees since that's all I need but that's exactly what I'm looking for :D Thanks again
