• 3.73 Installed w/ 5 Spd

Went from 3.23 to 3.42 and now the final move to 3.73

Worth it? = Shoulda done these the first time

The car seems to be in a better power band, it almost seems to accelerate smoother than with the 3.42s

however.... damn I need a speedo recal.

im gonna call bill mach and plead than he not rape me w/ a $500 charge just for a speedo recalibrate.

Yous should kick him in the balls for charging $500 for that. Get the JetSCU from someone on the board for like $125 and save some money.

better yet -- call SLP and order their gear recalibrator that all you do is splice it into the wiring harness and flip a few switches.

costs less than 500.00 and you dont have the @#$! with the ECM

The Jet SCU2000 doesn't work on a 5-speed. Let us know what you do about your speedo, mine is way off with my gears and 245/50 tires.

What do you think of the drivablity of the 3.73s? I already went from 3.23s to 3.42s and didn't really notice a differnce.

Also, not to bog you down with questions but hows the gas mileage on the new gears, because I commute about 70 miles a day?

I commute around 65 miles a day on my 3.73's and i still get around 20~ that includes me romping on it from time to time... They are a bit short for light to light driving in the city, cause first gears ends just about as fast as it starts but I still love my gears. I feel it to be a worth while mod :0
