k 3 months ago I put the transgo shift kit and a raptor servo in and I did something wrong. it did now work right an I burnt up the clutch packs. well I took it to my cousin who went to UTI and supposedly knows about this stuff. he pulled the tranny and rebuilt it. for the last 2 months we have been chasing ghosts in it and have not been able to get it to run right. well tonight I told him that this was the last time for him to try. we swapped the old servo back in, made sure the check balls were in the right place for the shift kit, and topped it off with fluid. well, I have no reverse, it is somehow locked and will not even roll back when we tried to push it out. I was barely able to drive it home. something was grinding reel bad at first, even in park. the only time it did not grind was then it was in gear. I practically have no first gear, well very little of it, like it is slipping,. second gear I don't know about since it is doing 78MPH at 5500RPM, and second will only go to 70 at 6K. it never shifted after first so I am guessing it went from 1st to 3rd. that means 3rd is slipping. and I have no overdrive. WTF is wrong with this thing?!?!?!?!?!? anybody?

Pop open that servo cover, and make sure the orings are seated properly.. I ****ed it up once right after rebuilding, and that turned out to be the problem.94 Firebird 3.4 - RIP<br />97 Firebird 3.8 - In the worksComment
