Tremec TKO500 or G-force

I need a strong tranny before I spray my new motor.. I have been through a stock tranny on my stock motor with a 125 shot so I know that this stock tranny bebuild isnt going to hold up.. I have been leaning to a TKO500 but the only TKO 5 speed trannys are for a 3rd gen.. Does anyone have one in the car?? The guy from Tremec told me that the TKO's need to be put in straight up and down and as you know our tranny's are at a 17 degree angle.. That leads me to G-force.. How good are they and can they handle over 550ftlbs of tq?? How is the streetablilty of the g-force rebuilds?? I know a couple people have the G-force so any help would be great.. And go Eagles..

The G-force is most likely stronger than the Tremec TKO. There is a lot of information on the differences on their website. Do a google search for G-Force transmissions.

www.5speeds.com has a T-5 that can handle 500-600HP it meantions G - Force trannys. Does 5speeds.com use G - Force parts to make their own tranny or do they just resell the G-Force T5 straight from G-force?
