do you guys think it's safe to put a transgo shift kit on a car with 80k on it? Also how much do you think it would cost for it to get installed? thanks

Shift kit wont hurt you at all, will probably actually be better on the tranny. As for install, free because you'll do it yourself! It's really not hard at all, and I believe it even comes with an install vid. As for the servo: http://www.transmissioncenter.net/4L60E.htm <-- I've bought from them before and they are good.94 Firebird 3.4 - RIP
97 Firebird 3.8 - In the works

The transgo does come with the video but, its not an f body. Their are a lot of small hard to see parts Thats why I didn't put mine in my self. Nor would my main mechanics in the area. They refered me to a trans shop with a hook up and they wanted 300 for the install and 1700 for a rebuild and they both had to be done or they wouldn't put the shift kit. I only had 52,xxx miles on the car at the time. The $100 shift kit turned into a $2100 mod that would not make me faster so, I just sold the shift kit and bought a torque converter. I also went to 2 other shops and got prices(not knowing the mechanics) 1)$2750 and the other $2900.2005 Cavalier LS Sport M5
http://members.cardomain.com/firefighter8615
