OK long sory short, I have an open diff with 3.73s on it and an lsd with 3.42s on it and i want the 3.73s on the lsd. The problem is that the bolts are not the easiest things in the world to get off. So basically I'm asking how those of you who have done it before, how did you get the gears off the carrier. I've tried hammering a breaker bar and it still wont budge. HELP ASAP!

Did you get the bolts out and trying to seperate them or just trying to get the bolts out?

So how do I separate them, lol. The hammer + breaker bar got the bolts out. Gears are still on though.

I was going to tell you that they were backwards but I wasn't sure if thats what you were asking and I didn't get back in time. Lol you know now. To separate them just be careful and apply even pressure on it just so you don't break anything. It will come apart sooner or later.

the 3.42s came off with a few taps on wood with the hammer, the 3.73s were another story, had to use a damn brake puller for it but it finally came off thanks for the help guys
