sh*t now you got me worried, because i just got my 3.42 gears and LSD in yesterday, from a seller on this forum, i know how to tell if their really 3.42 gears, but how can i find out that the differential is really a LSD, The guy that sold it to me said it was a zexal torsen differential out of a 02 Camaro SS.

Yeah that was ****ty... And its definitely an open Diff.

don't worry wouldn't have been able to file a complaint with paypal anyways... They don't allow complaints after 30 days...


I had a problem on ebay with something, I file a complaint, after 20 days of no contact. Guy ships my parts, I still have a complaint because he didn't send all my parts, I send the info in, but since I recieved a tracking number, my case is dropped, I got dicked out of a headliner, and he gave me crappy feedback. He coudl have sent me a box of rocks and he would have won the case. Luckily I was able to trade soem movie tickets for one locally.

When you look at the diff in the middle there are gears and if it's limited slip there will be either clutch packs and/or a whole bunch of other stuff, and if not there will just be 3 gear looking things like in this pic http://memimage.cardomain.net/member...36_51_full.jpg It isn't the best angle but I think you get the point. The pic is an open diff.
