This has been asked several times. I mean everybody wants the best one, right? And the prices for all of them are around the same. Do a search and you will see MANY perspectives. I have a pro 5.0 coming in the mail so that's what I picked but I haven't tried any of them. From what I've read, you won't be disapointed with whatever you get. I didn't get the B&M because the shifter is longer than stock but to each his own. :D

Do a search on it...and decide for yourself. ;)

Also, you can check the Modifications Encyclopedia, it gives a run down of each one.
:yoda voice: good resource it is, yes

The B&M is a little shorter than stock but not much. You would be very pleased with it yes

I agree, my B&M Ripper is slightly shorter than stock and feels rock solid. The shift firmness is incredible and its very pleasing to drive. I think its one of the better shifters on the market, and I really am enjoying mine a lot

i like my Ripper. i think the Pro 5.0 looks better with it's shorter stick. the throw is about the same as the Ripper.

I love my ripper but wish it was a little shorter. It still looks good though with my chrome B&M hammer head T-handle grip (the ONLY T-handle I could find that fit the threads!). When I first put it in I quickly noticed the shorter throws. After driving a friends M5 with the factory linkage the other day I'll never drive w/o something like this again! It's almost as fun as a new clutch :D

just making a shoutout for those of us with the billet plus from hurst.. nice shifter.. though from what I understand it's not as firm as the ripper but is very pleasant to drive and really does add to the fun of driving a manual..
