OK, my idea of swapping to a M6 is gone; however, Dometic Violence and I MIGHT be swapping transmissions. We've talked about swapping completly everything including: transmission, flywheel, clutch, pedal assembly, center console, ecm, shifter... just basically everything that has to do with the transmission. My car is a 2001, his is a 2000. What all will we need to swap out? Also, how expensive is it to fix/replace a bad syncronizer from the M5? Thanks guys.

ive done an a4 - m5 conversion. And from what ive done, id say itd be harder to go the otherway. Email me if you are still attempting this prject and would like to know more. Im too tired ti type right now and for all i know you may have abandoned the idea. I get messages all the time of people wanting to do it...so far im the only one. -
