3800 MT5 into a 94 that had a 3.4 MT5, why? Cause the motor was free...and the old one was dead. Now I'm beating my head cause I cant get the damm trans in, I'm getting it up but I cant get it in. No funny comments please. Is the throwout causing this? Is the spring that stiff? Also What tranny fluid does everyone reccomend?
May be a dumb suggestion, but did you use an alignment tool?
As for trans fluid, I use dextron III with a green transmission additive I bought at autozone. It's only a small bottle and says it helps gears change easier. Worked fine for me.
