I wouldn't bother with it until the stockers wear out. I just replaced my wp and got one of those lightweight wp pulleys from zzp, but the stock pulley had about 125K on it.

I have the ZZP waterpump pulley on mine now, I noticed no Seat of the pants gain. However, I took out my stock 195* F t-stat (CONTRARY to the guide on this site), and replaced it with a drilled 180* stat from ZZP. My car now heats up slower, and runs a bit under 210 now, instead of dead on it. I figured I should counter-act the underdrive pulley.

I also bought the alternator wire thing from then, and like an idiot realized that our fuse box tower was way the hell on the other side of the car. I am planning on buying the alternator 5% underdrive pulley. I bet they free up a 5hp combined. Ever since I wired my amp wire to the alternator directly, my volts have been well above 13 so I think the underdrive pulley won't harm me, I have a small 250watt and two Rockford Fostgate 8's in the back, so I don't have to worry about powering a huge system.

So far - WP pulley worth it? Meh, gives me some piece of mind of a cheap mod. Probably will help in the future when I get a cam and raise the redline to 6500rpm. It also looks cool. ;)
