    I think there is oil leaking from where Tranny bolts up to the motor? that possible and what would cause this?

    I've discovevred the same think this week end.
    For me it's my lip seal.
    Mine leaks at the other side of the driveshaft, it's part # 26026792 , $16

      Sounds like your rear main. Mine leaks bad its a lot of work to change since the tranny needs to be removed, so I am just going to deal with it for a while. I hear this is a common problem with 3800s. Since your car is an auto, it wont screw anything up.
