ok yesterday i got an SES light for my car. Ever seen then my when putting my car in DRIVE, the car jerks really bad. This also happens when im driving, the car is jerking when it shifts gears. Its an 99 camaro auto, FYI
Pull the code....I had this happen and it was shifting like that because of the code....once the code was clear it shifted fine. Everytime the code came back it did the same thing. Turned out being my 3-2 shift solenoid...easily fixed.

sounds like the pcm has detected slipping in the transmission and has decided to command maximum line pressure. you need to get the pcm scanned to see what exact code you are getting.
ok the extended warranty, kinda fix my problem. I got away with it today. The problem was one of those Resistors that was on the Intake sensor, it was throwin a code. luckily the dealorship didnt really care.
