ok, i have always thought that my 2002 3.8 firebird non y87 had 3.08's. i once read that the later model years came with 3.42's but disregarded it. recently i went over my window sticker from when i bought the car, and it says 3.4 axle ratio...so now im like huh? so i looked for the code, and i think i found it. its GU6. i guess this is 3.42's w/ no LSD??? please help i wanted to ugrade to 3.42's but if they are already on the car all i need is a limited slip. thanks for any info/help

If you have 3.42s already, then you can just swap out diffy's for the LSD. I've heard from most people that the LSD is an easy install.
