• Help me pick my Edge for a future turbo application?

Okay, the time has come to buy an Edge TC.

I have a 97 auto, 3.42 gears. The plan for next year is the FFF turbo so I want to get one that compliments the car then as much as now.

My goals are streetability, improved acceleration and better 1/4 times. I dont' plan on running slicks much at any point with this car, so I dont' want a crazy stall.

I'm thinking something like 3000 stall, 2.4-2.4 str and as efficient as possible.

Anything I may need to consider especially with respect to performance when I get the turbo?

    Thanks!

just make sure and tell you you're going to put a turbo, because the extra power w/the turbo will make it stall probably another 400-700 RPMs...its gonna have to stall low on motor so it will work w/the Turbo...

Edge will set up the converter to the car. u tell them u have a turbo on it, and they'll get it to stall as close to the desired rpm and possible, and it will be within 200 rpm or so prolly.

Thanks guys... i've placed my order with Andre... giving him the credit card info by phone monday

Here's what he suggested and i'm going with...

2800-2900 true stall(after turbo should raise to 3200-3300.

2.45 Str(I wanted a little less in favour of efficiency as I do not plan to run slicks very often...

          97% efficient.

This sounds perfect for what I want, based on what i've researched on this board, and talked to others.

Thanks for the replies... I should have it installed inside of 3 weeks just in time for our track opening...so i'll get some numbers.
