omfg I am so piss the reluctor ring slp sent me doesnt fit, the gears i bought off ebay are wrong, I know they are 3.42's but the dont fit. I need to get the right gear and reluctor ring.
Give me part numbers. the rears are not different from the v6 to the v8 right?

I say sell the gears and buy a takeoff set off a fourth gen fbody and be done with it. What did the guy say you bought it from what the gears came off?

what carrier do you have? It sounds like the carrier is not a series three. Especially if the reluctor ring is wrong. I just got my reluctor ring from SLP. There is only one part # for a series threee ring. The one I bought was in a AC Delco box. The Part # I got is 26029

i bought the lsd and ring from slp, the ring came in an ac delco box, I got the gears from a Z28. the diff is the zexel torsen one from slp.
